Millefiori glass bowls and plates

One of the most suggestive arts in ancient Rome was the 'murrino' glass: skillful and expert hands put together, on a special refractory support, innumerable segments of coloured glass, modelling them in the heat of an oven to make bowls or vases.

Now, after 2000 years, the ancient technique has been rebornin Murano; the outcome of intense and long  experimentations, a vast range  ofMurano glass plates and bowls has been created by us so as to give you, in modern form, all the charm of an ancient and delicate workmanship.

Our production of millefiori glass plates is divided into two lines. One is more traditional with round shape glass plates and classic decor, the other more modern with square shape plates and actual decorations.

During the fusionof the glass plate we have inserted a segment of glass with our trade-mark in every bowl to guarantee its origin.
