Murano glass beads

In the old times,  the 'lamp' was, for the Venetian bead-makers, the flame of an oil lamp, fed by the air produced with small bellows:  nowadays  oil and bellows have naturally disappeared, but the making of the Murano glass beads has remained practically the same.

On the flame of this 'lamp' the bead maker  brings  forth  the creativity and skill of her hands: in the way the Murano glass adventurine beads  are   born,  with  bright  copper crystals, the Africa beads with their warm  and  intense  colours,   the 'Millefiori'  with their many-coloured intarsia, imitations of semiprecious stones, the 'Sommersi' and finally the  monochromes with their endless varieties of shades.

From the harmonic matching of these precious elements we make our Murano glass necklaces.
