Research and development

First, we define our goals and then we find the resources, tools, skills and materials to achieve them. A perfect union between evolution and innovation, between tradition and reinterpretation. The result of a vision that leads to our mission and corresponds to our strategy, always.

The discovery of new techniques, the invention of new kinds of processes and the production of specific work tools have all been constants throughout our history. We are proud to have invented many of the techniques now part of the Murano and Venetian artisanal heritage, later copied and used by various master craftsmen and producers: for instance, the introduction of the copper rod for making lampwork beads, in about 1935 or, in the early 1970s, the adoption of flat copper band for the production of murrina pendants.
